Prayer

Prayer is CONVERSING WITH GOD. Prayer is humans talking with the Divine God.
The Scriptures instruct us to talk with God ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 and 7 state:
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV - New International Version)

The Power of Prayer

At Dominion, we believe in the power of prayer.
We also believe in the value of professional counseling.
Our ministry team offers Biblical prayer upon request to individuals and families.
We seek to encourage all to trust God and to discover solutions to personal challenges.
We do not offer counseling. It is the decision of each individual and family to determine whether counseling is needed.
Please share your prayer request(s) using the form below.

The Prayer of Salvation

If you believe that the Bible offers truth about the way to salvation, but you have not made the decision yet to become a Christian, it's as simple as praying this prayer. You can pray by yourself, using your own words. There is no special formula. Just pray from your heart to God, and He will save you. If you feel lost and just don’t know what to pray, here’s a prayer of salvation that you can pray:
Dear Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
Amen

If you have prayed the prayer of salvation, receiving Jesus Christ by faith as Lord and Savior, we welcome you to the family of believers in Christ!

SCRIPTURE (Salvation through Jesus Christ)
Romans 10:9-13 NLT
9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.  11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”[Isaiah 28:16]  12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him.  13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[Joel 2:32]
