Our Beliefs
Statement of Faith
1. We believe in the God of the Holy Bible.
2. We believe in the Holy Bible as the Divinely-inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
3. We believe in the Deity and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
4. We believe in the Divine personhood of the Holy Spirit.
5. We believe in the necessity of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone for everyone – Salvation (a gift) cannot be ‘earned’.
6. We believe that each converted (“saved”) believer is called to Spirit-filled living.
7. We believe in water baptism and Holy Communion (“The Lord’s Supper”) as ordinances of the Church to be observed by the Church.
8. We believe in the past and present-day activity of God-given spiritual gifts in the Church.
9. We believe in the autonomy of the local church as an independent entity with regard to matters of government, policy, operations, and discipline.
10. We believe that the Church is called to positively and successfully serve within and influence the culture: Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media, and Religion.
Note: This declaration of faith (doctrinal statement) does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that the foregoing statement of faith accurately represents the teaching of the Bible, and therefore, is binding upon all members of this church.
