The Holy Bible is The Inspired Word of God.
2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 16 and 17 state:
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (NLT - New Living Translation)
The Holy Bible - The Inspired Word of God - is a source of knowing God.
Knowledge of God is gained by study of His Word.
Knowledge of God is also gained by application of His Word to our daily lives.
2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 15 states:
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (NIV - New International Version)
2 Peter chapter 1 verses 2 through 4 state:
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (NIV - New International Version)
